Mobile Field Application for Engineering Inspection and Asset Capture

The Challenge

A construction contractor's site teams were capturing inspection data, defect records, and asset information on paper — leading to delays in data availability, transcription errors, and difficulties producing compliant handover documentation.

The Solution

We built an offline-capable Power Apps mobile application enabling site engineers to capture inspections, raise defects, photograph assets, and submit records directly from the field. Data flowed automatically into a centralised Power BI reporting environment.
