The Challenge
An engineering business was spending several days every month manually exporting data from its ERP system into spreadsheets to produce management accounts and project cost reports — a process prone to error and always roughly a month behind actual performance.
The Solution
We built a direct, automated integration between the ERP system and Power BI, using Power Automate to orchestrate the data flow and Dataverse as the central data hub. Financial and project-cost dashboards now refresh automatically every day instead of monthly, giving finance and commercial teams a live, accurate picture of performance.
